What level of interaction can guests have with tasks in a conversation?
Guests have limited interaction with tasks within Missive conversations they are invited to:
- View tasks: Guests can see tasks that are part of the conversation, including the task description and its status (e.g., in progress, closed).
- Discuss tasks: They can discuss tasks by posting messages in the internal chat of the conversation.
However, guests cannot:
- Create new tasks.
- Edit existing tasks (e.g., change the description, due date).
- Mark tasks as closed or reopen them.
- Be assigned to tasks.
Task management functionalities are generally reserved for internal team members. Guests can provide input or ask questions about tasks via chat, but team members are responsible for the actual task management.
